Window Cleaning

Professional Window Cleaning in Toronto & the GTA

Professional interior and exterior window cleaning for homes, condos and commercial properties.

About the service

Professional Window Cleaning Done Right

Glass is the part of a building that shows dirt fastest and reads clearest from the street. It is also the part most people put off, because the windows that need attention most are usually the ones hardest to reach.

Toronto and the GTA are demanding on glass. Winter road salt gets sprayed onto exterior panes. Spring brings pollen and sap. Construction dust travels well beyond the site it came from. Each leaves a residue that a quick wipe from inside doesn’t remove.

A professional window cleaning clears that buildup from the glass and takes in the frames and sills around it, so the whole opening looks finished rather than just the pane. We confirm exactly what is included before the work starts.

Windows That Need Careful Access

Upper-storey and hard-to-reach glass needs access planned before anyone starts cleaning. The method is matched to the building.

Cleaning upper-storey glass from the ground with a water-fed pole and brush

Water-fed pole system

Purified water is fed through an extending pole with a brush head, cleaning glass from ground level without ladders. Reaches upper-storey windows and leaves no detergent residue behind.

Cleaning a window by hand with a squeegee and washer

Traditional hand cleaning

Squeegee and hand tools, working directly at the glass. Used for windows within reach, interior work, and glass where close attention to frames and corners matters.

Rope-access window cleaner working on the glass of a tall building

High-rise rope access

For tall buildings where neither method reaches. Send us the building details and we’ll confirm what we can do.

Which method we use depends on the building height, the access available and the condition of the glass. We confirm this with you when we quote.

Inside and out

Interior and Exterior, and What Each One Covers

Exterior window cleaning deals with what the weather leaves behind — road salt, dust, pollen, sap and general grime that a household cleaner won’t lift. This is the standard service, and it takes in the frames and sills around the glass.

Interior window cleaning is available on request. It covers the inside face of the glass with the same attention to the frames and sills, so the opening reads clean from indoors as well.

Cleaning both sides at once is the most complete result, because a spotless exterior pane still shows every mark left on the inside. Let us know which you want when you request a quote.

The process

How Our Window Cleaning Works

It starts with a quote request: tell us about your property and the window-cleaning service you need, and we’ll coordinate a suitable time. On the day, the work follows five steps.

01

Assess the Windows

We confirm the number of windows, the building height and access, and which areas you want included — exterior, interior, or both.

02

Prepare the Area

Equipment is selected for the building and the work area around the windows is set up before cleaning starts.

03

Clean the Glass

The glass is cleaned using the method suited to the building, the access and the condition of the panes.

04

Detail the Surrounding Areas

Frames and sills are cleaned where they’re part of the agreed scope, along with any add-ons you asked for.

05

Final Inspection

We check the finished windows and clean up the work area before leaving.

Window cleaning FAQ

Common Questions About Window Cleaning

What does a window cleaning include?

Exterior glass cleaning, along with the frames and sills around it. Interior glass is available on request, and screens and window tracks can be added for an additional charge. We confirm the exact scope with you before the work starts.

Do you clean interior and exterior windows?

Yes. Exterior cleaning is the standard service and interior cleaning is available on request. Let us know when you request a quote and we’ll include it in the scope.

Do you clean window screens?

Screens are an optional add-on rather than part of the standard service, and are cleaned for an additional charge. Tell us if you’d like them done and we’ll include it in the quote.

Do you clean frames and sills?

Yes. Frames and sills are part of a typical window cleaning, so the whole opening looks finished rather than just the glass.

How often should windows be professionally cleaned?

It depends on the property and its surroundings. Buildings near busy roads, construction or heavy tree cover tend to need it more often than sheltered ones. Many properties in the GTA are done seasonally.

Do I need to be home?

You may not need to be home for every service, provided we have the necessary access to the work area. For some jobs your presence may be required if access depends on you — interior cleaning, for example. We’ll confirm this with you before the appointment.

Can you clean hard-to-reach windows?

Upper-storey windows can be reached with a water-fed pole system from ground level where access allows. For tall buildings beyond that reach, we provide high-rise window cleaning using rope access. Send us the building details and we’ll confirm what we can do.

How is window cleaning priced?

Pricing depends on the size, condition, access, materials and scope of work. Request a free quote for an accurate price.

Can residential and commercial properties be serviced?

Yes. We work on residential, commercial and high-rise buildings. Send us the details and we’ll tell you what we can do for your property.

Can I request a quote by sending photos?

Yes. Photos help, but they’re optional. Send them with your quote request along with your address and a short description of what you’d like cleaned.
