Who we are
This website belongs to HomeTouch Exterior, an exterior home services company serving Toronto and the GTA. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean HomeTouch Exterior. You can reach us at 416-948-6448 or hometouchhaven@gmail.com.
Information you send us through the quote form
When you request a quote on our website, the form asks for:
- Contact details — your name and phone number (required) and your email address (optional).
- Service details — the service you need, your city or address (optional) and any message you add (optional).
- Photos (optional) — up to five photos of the area you need help with.
With each request, the form also tells us which page of our website it was sent from. We only receive what you choose to type into the form or attach to it.
If you call or email us instead, we receive the information you share in that call or message.
How quote requests reach us
Our website does not store quote requests itself. When you send the form, your request is delivered to our email inbox by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service operated by Devro LABS. Your details are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection and are not added to the page address.
FormSubmit’s published help and privacy information states that:
- it keeps form submissions for 30 days, and uploaded files are not retained;
- it processes information only to run its service and fulfil requests, and does not disclose collected data to third parties except where needed to provide the service or where required by law.
When you attach photos, FormSubmit may ask you to complete a reCAPTCHA check (a Google service that helps block spam) before your request is sent. For full details, see FormSubmit’s own privacy policy, linked from formsubmit.co, or contact FormSubmit at support@formsubmit.co.
Once a request reaches us, it is kept in our email account.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your request and contact you about it;
- prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out the work;
- keep a record of our conversation and of the work we quote or complete for you.
Photos you send help us understand the job. We do not publish them on our website or social media without your permission.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them, as it does on many websites. Links to our Instagram and Facebook pages take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your choices
- The quote form is optional — you can always call or email us instead.
- Email and photos are optional on the form.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we change how our website handles quote requests. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
