Exterior Maintenance

Exterior Repairs & Maintenance in Toronto & the GTA

Minor roof, siding, soffit and fascia repairs — the jobs that are too small for a specialist contractor but too important to leave. One-time work, booked when you need it.

What to look for

Signs something needs attention

  • A few shingles lifted, cracked or missing after a storm
  • Gaps or failed sealant around roof pipes, vents or the chimney
  • A siding panel cracked, loose, or knocked out of place
  • Sections of soffit or fascia that are damaged, split or coming loose
  • Something you noticed from the ground and can’t quite identify
  • A problem you know is small now and would rather not find out about later

Not sure what you’re looking at? Send a photo with your quote request and we’ll tell you what we see.

Why it matters

The jobs that fall between contractors

Small exterior problems have an awkward position. They’re too small for a roofing company or a siding contractor to be interested in, but they sit on the parts of the house that keep water out.

A handful of lifted shingles isn’t a roof replacement. A cracked siding panel isn’t a re-siding job. Failed sealant around a chimney isn’t a chimney rebuild. None of them justify a specialist contractor, and all of them get put off for exactly that reason.

Toronto and the GTA don’t leave much room for putting things off. Freeze-thaw cycles work at anything that’s already opened up, and the wet seasons find whatever gaps the winter left behind. Small openings on the exterior tend not to stay small.

That’s what this service is for: the repairs that need doing, at the size they actually are.

Roof

Minor roof repairs and maintenance

We handle small roof work, including:

  • Replacing shingles where needed
  • Caulking around pipes and chimneys
  • Roof inspections
  • Other small roof repairs, depending on the property and the scope

This is minor repair work, not roof replacement. If we assess a roof and the problem is larger than this service covers, we’ll tell you what we found rather than take on work that isn’t the right fix.

Siding

Siding repairs

We repair most common siding types, including metal siding and Hardie board panels.

What a repair involves depends on the siding type and its condition — the same damage looks different on metal than it does on fibre cement, and the approach changes accordingly. We assess the panel and the surrounding sections before quoting.

Soffit & Fascia

Minor soffit and fascia repairs

We repair damaged sections of existing soffit and fascia.

This covers the smaller repairs — a damaged section, a length that has come loose, a localised problem on an otherwise sound roofline.

If what you need is a new soffit and fascia system, or full or partial replacement of what’s there, that’s covered under Soffit, Fascia & Gutters.

Common questions

Exterior maintenance questions, answered

How much does exterior repair work cost?

Pricing depends on the size, condition, access, materials and scope of work. Request a free quote for an accurate price.

Do you offer a seasonal or annual maintenance plan?

No. This is a one-time service for specific exterior repair needs. You book it when something needs doing, with no contract or recurring commitment.

Do you replace roofs?

No. This service covers minor roof repairs — replacing shingles where needed, caulking around pipes and chimneys, roof inspections and other small repairs. If the problem is larger than that, we’ll tell you what we found.

What types of siding do you repair?

Most common siding types, including metal siding and Hardie board panels. What the repair involves depends on the siding type and its condition.

Can you replace my soffit and fascia through this service?

This service covers repairs to damaged sections of existing soffit and fascia. New installation and full or partial replacement is handled through our Soffit, Fascia & Gutters service.

What’s the difference between this and your caulking service?

Caulking around roof pipes and chimneys is part of roof repair work here. If caulking is the job itself — windows, doors, exterior joints — that’s covered under Caulking & Re-Caulking.

Can I book several small repairs at once?

Yes. Tell us everything you’ve noticed when you request a quote and we’ll assess it together rather than as separate visits.

I don’t know what the problem is — can you look?

Send photos with your quote request. If it’s something we can identify from a photo, we’ll tell you. Roof inspections are part of what we do.

Do I need to be home?

You may not need to be home for every service, provided we have the necessary access to the work area. For some jobs, your presence may be required if access depends on you. We’ll confirm this with you before the appointment.
